When do I need to vaccinate my puppy?
Puppies require a series of core vaccinations (protecting against Distemper, Parvovirus, and Rabies) starting between 6 to 8 weeks of age. Booster shots are then administered every 3 to 4 weeks until they reach 16 to 18 weeks old. Keeping to this timeline is critical, as the natural immunity from their mother’s milk fades during these weeks, leaving them vulnerable.
When do I need to vaccinate my kitten?
There are 3 vaccines available for cats- Rabies, FVRCP and FeLV. Rabies and FVRCP are core vaccines that are recommended to be given to all cats over the age of 8 weeks unless medically contraindicated.
Should I spay/ neuter my pet?
Yes, we highly recommend spaying or neutering your pet, as it provides significant health and behavioral benefits. It prevents uterine infections, reduces the risk of mammary and prostate tumors, and eliminates behaviors like roaming, marking, or heat cycles.
